Manheim doesn't publish a single public buyer-fee schedule — fees are set per account, tier, and location. Rather than guess, we ship honest, clearly-labeled placeholder fields under the Manheim tab so you can enter your own account's actual rates.
It depends. Licensed dealers with a valid resale/dealer certificate are typically exempt from sales tax at the point of auction purchase — tax is collected later when the vehicle is resold. The calculator defaults to tax-exempt; uncheck the box in Market Value if you don't hold a valid certificate for this purchase, and it will apply your selected state's statewide sales tax rate.
Your saved calculations live only in your own browser's local storage. Nothing is sent to a server, and nothing is shared with third parties.
They reflect each platform's published Standard buyer-fee structure. Auction fees can change without notice, so always confirm current fees with your branch before placing a bid.

For a $5,000 salvage-title winning bid, total Copart fees come to approximately $674 (a $500 buyer fee plus the $95 gate, $59 environmental/service/mailing, and $20 title handling fees) before transport, based on Copart's published US Standard buyer-fee schedule.

No. Sales tax depends on your state and dealer/resale-certificate status, so it's handled in the full AuctionCalc rather than this fee-only tool.
No. That standalone calculator doesn't save or transmit anything — it recalculates live in your browser as you type.
Copart's Standard buyer-fee schedule applies to typical online bidders. High-volume licensed dealer accounts may have different negotiated rates — check your own account's fee schedule to confirm.
Refund Policy
Trials, billing, and refunds.
No. Your card is only charged if you don't cancel before the trial ends, at which point your Builder subscription begins at the standard monthly or yearly rate.
Yes — if you're charged when your trial converts, you have 7 days from that first charge to request a full refund, no questions asked.
Renewal charges outside the initial 7-day guarantee are non-refundable, though you'll always keep access through the end of the period you already paid for.
Only if completely unused and requested within 7 days of purchase. Once a VIN in the package has been looked up, the package is final.
Yes, within 14 days of purchase if you haven't made active use of Pro-tier features beyond light testing. After 14 days it's non-refundable, but your full 3-year access term stays intact either way.
Cancel any time from your account settings, or email billing@auctioncalc.co and we'll cancel it for you before your next renewal date.
No. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle, so you keep full access to your current tier through the period you already paid for.
Approved refunds are issued within 5–10 business days; your bank may take a few additional days to post it to your account.
